Posted on 30th Jul 2026 11:24:27 by AdminPlease complete the form below to register your participation in the Hull Philharmonic Chorus for the performance of Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony No. 2 on Saturday 15th May 2027, 7.30 p.m. at the Hull City Hall.
The concert will be conducted by Simon Chalk (Musical Director, Hull Philharmonic Orchestra) with chorus rehearsals led by Elaine King (Assistant Musical Director, Hull Philharmonic Orchestra) and PR Dewhurst (Chorus Director).
The closing date for registrations is Wednesday 30th September 2026.
There will be a small registration fee of £25 for chorus members to participate in this event (payable before the 1st rehearsal)
To launch the Hull Philharmonic Chorus, we are running a special rehearsal evening in the New Year to enable members of the chorus and orchestra to meet and make music together. The event will take place on Wednesday 6th January from 7.00-9.45pm at the Albemarle Music Centre in Hull. The evening will involve rehearsing and running-through selected movements from Orff’s Carmina Burana with a celebratory refreshment break for tea/coffee and cake! We hope you will be able to join us. Please indicate below if you can make the launch event.
