Feast upon the beauty of Russian classical music in this dazzling concert!
The Hull Philharmonic will showcase Shostakovitch’s celebratory ‘Festive Overture’ as well as the work of his favourite pupil, Ustvolskaya, in her evocative ‘Symphonic Poem No. 1’, the blooming musical panoramic of Glazunov’s ‘Summer’ from The Seasons and Mussorgsky’s iconic ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’.
